Our original relationship with computer games giant NCsoft enabled us to appear at comic and games conventions and exhibitions in both the UK and Europe for the last few years. Artists sketch for convention attendees who make donations to the project. Some of the biggest names in comics have contributed to the project including artists David Lloyd, Dave Gibbons, Bryan Talbot, Ian Gibson, Mike Collins, Brian Hitch, Jock, Liam Sharp and Douggie Braithwaite to name but a few.
Events have so far been held in England, Denmark and Greece with more events scheduled. We are now no longer sponsored by NC Soft but are continuing to make appearance at many of the leading comic conventions. Our relationship with conventions organisers in the UK and Europe has made sure that we continue to raise valuable funds to help children’s charities.
It is the intention of Draw the World Together to move beyond the original auction of comic art and create similar auctions and projects in other related industries including Animation, Computer Games and Children’s Book Illustration.
